- WannaHelp.co.uk will be referred to as (‘We’, ‘Us’, ‘Our’) throughout this agreement.
- We have set out these terms in relation to the use of our platform.
- Any party that uses this platform must agree to these terms beforehand.
- If any party no longer agrees with these terms, he/she should delete his/her account and stop using our platform.
- This agreement does not affect your statutory rights.
- We are a social enterprise that provides a platform to facilitate volunteering.
- Charity Reps are able to sign up and share volunteering opportunities along with available timeslots.
- Volunteers are able to sign up and place bookings for volunteering opportunities.
- Volunteers, Charity Reps and our staff are able to message one another.
- Upon completion of a volunteering experience, Volunteers and Charity Reps are able to leave ratings and reviews for one another.
- All users are able to report concerns via the Help Centre, which we will investigate and take any action that we deem appropriate.
- You must be 18 years or older to use our platform.
- You must take reasonable steps to ensure a safe environment for volunteers at all times while in your care.
- You are committed to providing high quality volunteering experiences which contribute to the greater good in society.
- You must not misrepresent yourself, otherwise you may be committing fraud.
- You must not pressure volunteers into committing more time than what they have voluntarily booked on our platform.
- You must be 16 years or older to use our platform.
- You should be helpful and cooperative in relation to any reasonable requests during your volunteering.
- You must leave the volunteering location immediately if asked to do so by a Charity Rep.
- You must not cause harm or damage to other persons or entities during your volunteering.
- You bear the overall responsibility for your own safety.
- You should carry out your own checks and precautions to ensure your safety, including asking to see ID before starting your volunteering.
- You should not attend or complete a volunteering experience if at any point you believe that your safety is at risk.
- You consent to the use of your data in the way that we have outlined in our Privacy Policy.
- You should report to us via the Help Centre if you have any concerns regarding other users of our platform.
- You must not submit content to our site which is untrue, inappropriate or offensive.
- You must not use our platform to carry out any illegal activity.
- During volunteering sessions:
- You should dress, speak and conduct yourself in a suitable manner.
- You must not be under the influence of alchohol or drugs.
- You must not carry out any illegal activity.
- Anyone is free to join and we do not carry out thorough vetting of users, therefore users should carry out appropriate checks and precautions before the start of any volunteering opportunity.
- We do not accept liability for any loss arising due to the content that is posted by users of our platform.
- We do not accept liability for any loss arising by the actions (or lack of action) by charities, charity staff, volunteers or any other party.
- We do not accept liability for any loss arising due to technical, performance or availability issues with our platform (or components therein).
- We reserve the right to remove any user from our platform, and to cancel any bookings, and to remove any content, without notice and without providing justification.
